if you didn't found pydev in Preferences then your version in wrong ,uninstall and reinstall your pydev version:
Eclipse 4.5, Java 8: PyDev 5.2.0
Eclipse 3.8, Java 7: PyDev 4.5.5
Eclipse 3.x, Java 6: PyDev 2.8.2
Python 2.5 or older: PyDev 5.5.0
Browse other versions of pydev note:(open in browser to select URL for Eclipse):
http://www.pydev.org/update...

To configure PyDev for Python development go to Window>Preferences>PyDev >Editor >Interpreter Python
For me path was : Window>Preferences>PyDev > Interpretor >python interpretor

You can also go to Document>Set Filetype>Program Languages if you don't know the correct file extension for what you're writing.

hey
i have installed ns 2.35 on ubunt 14.04 but on typing nam in terminal always gives segmaentation fault (core dumped)
How can I manage to recover the problem??

i am using geany for c programming with raspberry pi but when i tried to execute simple basic program, it gives an error
the file not found or command not found
i am unable to find where is the pblm or am i supposed to install anything else with it on my pi

hi there, i am working on the final year project about ns2.31 with crcn patch running on ubuntu 10...any suggestion??.04..and i have finishe installed all of it..but the problem is my crcn GUI is not plotting the graph...then someone suggest me to use awk script to obtain the throughput.. but i did not know how to used it

I think its about time. Unity was created for this reason. The app community will take sometime to adapt to the 'qt/qml' platform and if Canonical provides enough flexibility, then this thing can be a real hit.

Sound good right? Let's be realistic, Mark is overselling this way too soon. Should have said" It's good enough to try" "good luck to ya" "we will do our best to improve it over time". To call this anything more than experimental is really misleading. I love Ubuntu, but I know Ubuntu well enough not to get over excited about this release. What about the availability of Apps? Android has thousands of good Apps. Ubuntu has a handful and that is a fact. Good luck Ubuntu I hope it works out.
